Assembly of Subsystem 1:
The Vehicle Frame

  • Step One
    PURPOSE: To measure, cut, de-burr, and dry assemble the vehicle frame.

  • Step Two
    PURPOSE: To create the H-beam float supports.

  • Step Three
    PURPOSE: To drill elbows to allow water to fill the vehicle frame.

  • Step Four
    PURPOSE: To create clearance holes and screw threads for the final assembly of the float supports.

  • Step Five
    Part 1: Motor Mounts

    PURPOSE: To fit and to mount the motor mounts.

    Part 2: Gluing and Customizing
    PURPOSE: To glue and customize the vehicle frame.

    Part 3: Payload Netting
    PURPOSE: To cut & fasten the payload netting to vehicle frame.
