PURPOSE:
To wire the button switches (vertical thrusters)
MATERIALS:
2 button switches
Prepared control box
Solder
TOOLS:
Soldering iron
Vice

PROCEDURE:
Refer to Figures 18 and 19 (next page) for instructions on wiring the switches
Locate the (
C, NO, NC
) box above the wire terminals on each switch.
Cut about 1" from both left over loose red (+) and black (-) wires. (Fig 19A)
Solder the small red (+) wire between the two
NC
terminals. (Fig 19B)
Solder the small black (-) wire between the two
NO
terminals. (Fig 19B)
Take ONE red (+) wire splice from the power cable and solder it to one of the
NC
terminals. (Fig 19C)
Take ONE black (-) wire splice from the power cable and solder it to the
NO
terminal on the same switch. (Fig 19C)
Separate about 2" of the orange tether wire pair.
Solder the orange (+) wire to the
C
terminal on ONE of the switches. (This switch will move the sea perch upward.) (Fig 19D)
Solder the white (-) wire to the
C
terminal on the other switch. (This switch will move the sea perch downward.) (Fig 19D)

C. Vertical thrusters with power cable connections
D. Vertical thrusters with power cable and tether connections
